The last film I watched was “ The help”, which is a dark comedy.
Tate Taylor directed it in 2011.
The film stars Viola Davis as a servant.
Emma Stone plays the part of a lady who is journalist. The film was nominated for four Academy awards including best picture.
It won an Academy award for best actress in a supporting role.
The film is set in the earlies sixties and the story takes place in Mississippi. This dark comedy was shot on location in Montana´s Glacier National Park, Chicago and Los Angeles.
It´s about very different, extraordinary women in the 1960´s South who build an unlikely friendship around a secret writing project-one that breaks society´s rules and puts them all at risk.
The film is based on a book by Kathryn Stockett.
I recommend The help, it make you laugh and cry.
However it´s a bit sad, I think that film is amazing!
